O objetivo desta iniciativa visa o melhoramento genético por meio da tecnologia para o desenvolvimento dos rebanhos bovinos de corte e leite dos agricultores familiares, visando o crescimento socioeconômico, gerando impulsionamento no mercado agropecuarista, bem como a implementação de novas políticas públicas na região.

A Prefeitura junta a Secretaria está empenhada para que este projeto possa ser iniciado da melhor forma, junto com o apoio técnico e acompanhamento do CONAFER.

O Prefeito Mário Bastos acompanhado do ex - Prefeito Antônio Bastos estiveram reunidos com o Deputado Federal Wellington Roberto , e com o Ministro do densenvolvimento regional Rogério Marinho que esteve na Paraíba essa semana.

Dentre os assuntos debatidos nesse encontro , o Ministro irá atender um pedido do Prefeito Mário Bastos feito junto ao Deputado Federal Wellington Roberto, e garantiram uma escavadeira hidráulica para o município.

Essa máquina irá melhora os serviços oferecidos aos agricultores do nosso município que sempre vem sendo assistidos pela administração através da secretaria da agricultura que tem sob seu comando o Secretário Paulo Felix.

A entrega do equipamento ( escavadeira hidráulica ) será ainda no primeiro semestre de 2021 e soma um investimento de meio milhão de reais ( 500 mil reais ).

Essa é mais uma emenda do Deputado Federal Wellington Roberto que sempre tem olhando com atenção e carinho para a cidade de Pedra Branca.
